Lakeside Accessibility LLC offers a variety of vision-related assistive technology services, computer and smart technology training, accessibility testing, and consulting services. Located in Cleveland, we offer services in NE quadrant of the state of Ohio.
We begin with an Assistive Technology Assessment to determine what adaptations and assistive technology are needed. Next, depending on your goals, a computer skills assessment is performed. The assessment results, as well as adaptations and recommended assistive technology, are documented in a clear and concise report with actionable steps.
Our training focus is on what you need--not a predetermined curriculum. We tailor the training to cover the areas indicated by the skills assessment. Whether you need typing training, or to add to your skills, we can help you meet your goals. Our aim is to help you regain and maintain independence and access. See our complete list of services below for more information.
Is your smartphone or tablet sitting around like an expensive paperweight? We can help by working with you to adapt your phone to meet your needs. We also provide training on the new settings, features, and apps that matter to you.
Are vision changes making work challenging? We can meet with you at your workplace and discuss accommodations to help keep you employed and independent. We work alongside your employer's IT department to implement recommendations and provide training.

When it comes to accessibility you want to choose the right service the first time. Our experience with Section 508 and WCAG accessibility standards testing extends from large Federal government entities to small business, from major corporations to local small business, and educational institutions of all sizes. We want to help you not only identify areas that may need remediation but provide education to maintain accessibility in the future.
Our services provide a comprehensive approach to help you identify accessibility gaps and needs. Our website and software assessments include a comprehensive report (with VPAT) that includes a narrative to explain the user experience, any issues encountered, and what accessibility standards they relate to. When possible, the relevant code is indicated in the report to help make remediation easy. Our goal is to help you open the door to a wider audience via accessibility.
We offer full services for Section-508 compliant PDFs. Whether you are starting from scratch, or have existing documents and forms, we have the expertise to make them accessible.
